How can I hide my filter?

There are two main types of pond filter: box filters and pressurised filters.

Box filter

Box Filters

This type of filter has to be situated above your pond, as it relies on gravity to feed the water back in. Box filters can look unsightly and be difficult to hide; we recommend you surround your box filter with shrubs and plants so that it is hidden from view. If this isn't possible, you may want to consider a pressurised filter.

Pressurised Filters

Pressurised filters don't rely on gravity to feed water back to your pond and so you can put them almost anywhere. The outlet and inlet on these filters tends to be at the top, meaning you can bury them as well which makes them very easy to hide.

Pressurised Filter and Filtocap

Filter Cover Rocks

If you choose an Oase Filtoclear or Filtomatic then you also have the option of a filter cover (pictured above). These Filtocap 'rocks' will help your filter to blend into your garden. There are two types available: for the Filtoclear or for the Filtomatic.
