Where should I connect my UVC?

Your UVC needs to be fitted between your pump and filter (as in the diagram above) using the correct size hose and clips for the model.

The water will then come from your pump and pass through the UV light before going into your filter. The UV light makes the algae in your pond clump together (flocculate) and it is then picked up by the filter.

You will also need to connect the UVC to a mains power source. As you will probably have other items to connect as well (such as your pump and pond lights), we would recommend a junction box. This will let you connect several items to one power cable.
