Velda Pond Guard Heron Deterrent
The
Velda Pond Guard Heron Deterrent is a modern, effective way to
scare herons and other pests (such as cats) away from your pond and
fish. The deterrent has a sensor on it and when it detects movement
from a heron or another pest it will set off a piercing noise and a
light will flash. This confuses and scares the animal, which then
runs/flies away.
Features
When
movement is detected, the Pond Guard's amplifier lets off a loud
noise (which sounds like a bird of prey) and a bright light flashes
to scare the animal away.
The
sensor detects movement up to an angle of 180º and a range of 25m.
You can set this to whatever distance you like (up to
25m).
The
Pond Guard Heron Deterrent has three settings: off, on with flash
or on with sound and flash. The sound and flash setting is the most
effective deterrent.
The
Pond Guard automatically switches itself off on an evening, so that
you aren't disturbed by the sound or light. When the unit is off
for the evening, the indicator light will flash quickly.
