Stately Homes with Water Gardens and Displays

There are some beautiful stately homes and gardens around the country, and some of them have some absolutely beautiful water gardens. Visit some of their websites below, and maybe even have a visit to see them for yourself! Burnby Hall

These delightful Gardens, close to the centre of Pocklington - a thriving market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire), are home to a National Collection of Hardy Water Lilies - the biggest such collection to be found in a natural setting in Europe.

The two lakes that contain the lilies are set in eight acres of beautiful gardens.

Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal

Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal in North Yorkshire is a huge estate which includes the largest abbey ruins in the country and one of England's most spectacular water gardens. A perfect place for a day out with the family all year round.

 

Burton Agnes Hall Gardens

Burton Agnes in East Yorkshire is a magnificent Elizabethan Hall surrounded by lawns and topiary yew bushes and beautiful award winning gardens.

The eastern aspect of the house showcases a classical pond with beautiful fountains and a newly created pebble mosaic.

Chatsworth House

Chatsworth is set in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire. There is always something new to see and do in the house, garden, farmyard and adventure playground.
