When Should I Build My Pond?

There isn’t any particular time of year that is best to build a pond. Each time has its advantages and disadvantages. Plan when you will have the time to devote to the project; a nice long bank holiday weekend or a couple of weekends in a row would be perfect.

While there isn't a best time of year to build your pond, we would recommend that you choose a time when the weather is likely to be good. It makes the job much more pleasant! You don't want to be digging a hole in frozen ground, or trying to fit a pond liner in the rain for example.

Make sure you order the items you need in plenty of time, but don’t worry if you forget something as Bradshaws have a range of delivery options (including 24 hour).
