By combining an integrated UVC pond clarifier with high-grade biological and mechanical filter materials Heissner have produced a filter with extremely effective filtration. Whilst the filter’s clever design incorporates Heissner’s unique Easy Clean technology, making it really quick and easy to maintain.
Heissner’s Easy Clean technology – lets you clean the filter with just one simple hand movement.
Just by reversing the direction of the flow of water, dirt which has settled in the filter is released and escapes through the separate dirt outlet.
This also preserves the important bacteria in the filter, so it remains biologically active.
Compact design – making it simple for you to place the filter next to your pond, buried into the ground making it a very discrete form of filtration for your pond.
Integrated UVC Pond Clarifier – causes the small, floating particles of green algae in the water to clump together ready to be removed by the filter.
Mechanical Filtration – for maximum mechanical filtration of the water these filters include a layer of fine and course foam.
Biological Filtration – using Heissner’s bio-balls which provide a huge area for nitrifying bacteria to settle.
Large hose tails for increased flow - inlet and outlet hose sizes 25-40mm (1-1½”).
