A 40mm hose can be attached to the outlet from this filter. It can only go level or downhill, but this makes it a lot more flexible than outlets from other box filters.
The Ecomax also has a turbulator which ensures that more water gets exposed to the UV light and a venturi spray head which helps to add air to the pond water. A sludge drain lets you clean the filter out easily.
