This UVC can be used as a stand-alone unit with other types of filters or connected as an integrated part of the Biotec Filter. All incorporate a unique by-pass system which means some water can be directed past the UVC and some directly into the filter helping to maintain a biological balance. A built in magnet and cleaning device enables you to clean the quartz sleeve in situ, the magnet prevents limescale build-up on the quartz sleeve, thus minimising maintenance and enhancing performance
