This Ice Preventer from Velda helps to keep a section of your pond ice-free in the winter. This is important as it lets toxic gases escape from the pond when combined with an air pump.
Two styles available:
Ice Preventer only - contains the floating styrofoam Ice Preventer and air pipe only. The air pipe is hollow so you can run your own air pump tube through it.
Ice Preventer with air pump - contains the floating styrofoam Ice Preventer and an air pump. This will add vital oxygen to the pond water for your fish and also make sure that there is an area of the water that is constantly circulating. The air pump can be used all year round and comes complete with air hose and an air stone.
